Subtitles don’t show

The subtitle file isn’t loaded, is named differently from the video, uses a format the player doesn’t read (ASS, SMI) or is embedded in the MKV but switched off.

Play it free with PlayAnyVideo

  1. 1

Drop the subtitle file onto the player, or put it next to the video with the same name.

  2. 2

Pick the embedded subtitle track from the subtitles menu.

  3. 3

Use the subtitle delay control if they appear too early or late.

  4. 4

Open the PlayAnyVideo player in your browser — nothing to install — and drop the file in. Files never leave your device.

FAQ

Is it really free?

Yes. PlayAnyVideo has no ads, no paid codecs and no locked features.

Is my Subtitles don’t show file uploaded anywhere?

No. Playback happens on your own device; local files are never sent to a server.

Do I need a codec pack?

No. Codec packs can break other players and often bundle adware. PlayAnyVideo brings its own decoders.
