1. Acceptance
By using OpenPlay (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
OpenPlay is a free media player. Core playback features are provided free of charge without advertising. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
3. Your content
You are responsible for the media you open, play, save or share with the Service and must have the right to do so. We do not receive, review or host your media files.
4. Saving from links
The link-saving feature may only be used for content you own, that is openly licensed, or that the rights holder or platform explicitly permits you to download. You must not use the Service to circumvent DRM, encryption, access controls, paywalls, logins or geographic restrictions, or to violate any platform's terms. We may disable saving for any source.
5. Acceptable use
You must not reverse engineer the Service to harm others, distribute malware, interfere with our servers, or use the Service in violation of applicable law.
6. Open-source components
The Service includes open-source software such as FFmpeg (LGPL 2.1+). Their licenses apply to those components; notices are available in the app's About screen and in our repository.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Format support depends on your device, operating system and browser.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms by posting a new version. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them. You may stop using the Service at any time.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
